I have been trying to get my young guinea fowl to free range with my chickens. But the guinea fowl won't go more than a few steps out of the door!!!

I left the door open all day this week in the hope they would follow the chickens out.

Only once did the venture out a few steps.. but the big one.. their boss.. stayed in the coop and shouted at them to come back in. Since then its been 4 days.

They get mad when they are left in there alone and can see the chickens having fun.. But they still won't come out.

Should I force them out... or will that spook them? I don't want them to fly away and not come back.

I have even scatted grain outside the door.. but they just stretch their necks out and eat what they can reach and then stand shouting at the rest!

I'd let them go out in their own time.
Usually I have young birds venture out at a young age but every once in a while, I'll have a flock of scaredy cats that take months before they venture out.

Mine did that, and eventually they got over it. I'd put the food and water outside. They are easily spooked.
