Breed and Gender?

Well even if she does have a pea comb, she still could be a hatchery quality Blue orp, as there is possibly cross-breeding in her lines. (Example: I have a pure Red laces Wyandotte with a single comb, even though he's pure.)

I still could not get a photo, as she will not be still at all. She seems to be horrified of me, unlike anything I've ever seen. BUT, I did get a closer look, and it appears that her comb is little to none. It sits closer to the back of her head and is about the size of a small pea. It's just a round looking blob. I'm not familiar enough with combs to know if this is normal for her age. Could it be that it is still developing? What age do they generally develop?

That probably means she has a rose comb. After consideration, the thought that she may be a blue Wyandotte crossed my mind. She could be a blue Wyandotte (NOT blue laced)
