I wish I had a better picture, but has anyone had a Chinese Painted Quail baby come out as a ginger? Like.. It's from a brown Mother and the normal Blue/Grey Father. We got 3 brown babies, and 2 Blonde babies. We also got this Ginger one. I have never seen that before, and can't find anything on the internet about it. But has anyone else had a Ginger baby Quail?
I checked on them today, but 3 babies (Including the ginger) have disappeared. They got out of the cage which was chicken wire (it takes a few days before they start jumping that high) but I asked multipul times before they even hatched to have Mesh put around the cage to prevent them from jumping out. It's only now that we lost 3 that it's been put up (I am sad about the babies missing though..)
But anyway if you look under the mother, you can kind of see a ginger baby.
