Alejandro-Limping Rooster needs your help!

Hi, this is Alejandro. He is a young 6 month old smooth feather sizzle rooster. In the past 24 hours he seems to be injured or having trouble moving. He can't stand fully upright and limps. He lets me pick him up very easily (which was not common before) and when I move around his legs and wings he doesn't seem to be in pain. I didn't see in signs of injury, but he is in a flock with other roosters (all are silkie/sizzles and pretty tame) there aren't usually fights but I'm not sure if that's a possibility...or if its a nervous condition/Mareks. His head/neck seem normal, and his eyes are clear and responsive. He is in a flock of 8 and they all free range all day and have a balanced diet. Any ideas what could be wrong, or what to do do help my little fellow.

I would check his legs and feet for any signs of injury, redness, dark spots, or swelling, especially on the footpads or in the joints. Note if his toes curl or move when you touch them, if he sits on his hocks. or has toes curling under into a claw. Watch to see if he lifts his legs abnormally, drags one, or limps as if the foot is numb. Is he eating and drinking well? I would get him on some good poultry vitamins in the water or fed to treat him in case of a vitamin deficiency. Many things can look like Mareks, and it is good to know what to rule out, but here are some links to read about it:

thanks for your help! not seeing any signs of injury. Unless I'm missing it, his legs are covered in tons of feathers. His toes move and grip my fingers. He's been sitting on his hocks but his toes haven't been curling under. He was limping like they were numb, and seemingly unable to stand upright. Also the wings were dragging a bit. The first day I added a vitamin electrolyte mix into his water, and then have been giving a vitamin supplement mix to his food along with liquid b-12 into a water dish. For the past few days I've had him quarantined inside. He seems to be drinking and eating but still very mellow. Today he is able to walk almost back to normal. Standing upright and everything, but he still seems a little to shaky, and isn't nearly as active and seems very mellowed...might just be a little stressed from his recent indoor quarantined lifestyle and missing his ladies. Not sure. If he's looking better does this sound like a vitamin related mareks false alarm?
 
I'm glad that he is acting more normal. Several other problems besides Mareks and vitamin deficiency can cause sitting on the hocks. Injury to the legs, mycoplasma synoviae, and viral arthritis should be mentioned just in case. Since he is improving, vitamin deficiency looks likely. With Mareks, symptoms can disappear rarely, then return later on. Wishing for a good recovery for the little guy. Here are some links about the diseases mentioned:

thanks for the information! In the meantime do you think I should still keep him quarantined from the others. I didn't want any mysterious condition to spread...but I'm also not sure if the damage has already been done.
 
I would for at least a month. Hopefully your chickens got an exposure and have time to fight it. IF it's Marek's. They are all exposed , IF, but I think less available virus helps too.

I would try some B vitamins too.

What vitamin supplement are you using? It needs to contain riboflavin (vitamin B2) for sure.
