I agree with you I think it's stupid that they are banned here. I had a friend years ago that had a pit bull. His 2 year old used to launch down the hall and land smack bang on top of the dog and it would wag it's tail and lick her. If I am right pit bulls aren't overly fussed with other dogs but are not all that aggressive towards humans.
I have an akita/bull mastiff. Thor is the biggest sook you will ever meet but most people wont enter my yard because of his size.

Edited to add, I have pet snakes which deter people form entering my house too :lol: They are in locked cages but some people still wont come inside.

Rya and Joker are so cute! Patiently waiting to help out. Did they drag off anything while you weren't looking? Like tools since they are so good at making things disappear! Remember, patience is a virtue. Wait til this project is completely finished==I can almost guarantee that you will find something else to work on. It's in your blood, has to be on the Lyons side of the family! Looking good. Keep up the good work, remember you're a one man band!

And to think that it wasn't that long ago that Pits were used as Nanny's.
 
your progress looks good this spring I need to put up a bigger pen for my ducks and larger geese so they are not on the lawn all day. your dogs are so cute we have a american bulldog that looks almost like the brindle one of yours.

we have a vet in Wisconsin that labeled my 14 or 15 year old other white male pit as an American bulldog so we could keep him and not get crap for it....some people understand these dogs....most are just scared of these dogs because of the media...you don't ever hear of a german shepard attack on the news or radia....y you might ask...its because law enforcement uses these dogs and they cant have society bashing the dogs they use for tactical training and live events...right...

well on a different note...got 16 eggs this morning and im sure well get more because I only seen one white egg....got everyone watered and fed so now on with the work...I have to get more thermal bowls to keep the rubberones from freezing...its to time consuming to have to knock out ten rubber bowls...

talk to my ride today and he says tommarow or later tonight we maybe could go to the lumber yard...and also pick up one of the fridges....so im excited...
if I can figure out how to get somewhere farther away I could grab up some ayam cemani chickens...boy that would be a great add on...one of the most rarest chickens in the world...another separate pen for another set of birds...wow this is never ending...maybe I should stop getting so many birds.....NAW

Pace yourself birdman. The Ayam Cerani's breeding program can keep for another year or two. No sense in stretching yourself out too thin with all of your other birds before you drop the cash into getting into those birds.

OMG Ayam Cemani. I want a breeding pair of those so bad! Like, I don't know if you can tell from my avatar, but I'm pretty sure that breed is totally metal/goth enough for me. If I were a rich girl... :)
 
I told myself that Is my treat for all the hard work....so I will get some...I have a person that breeds many of these as well as the honas....so I will get those birds this season...no matter what...I want them for more then just there looks...culture in particular....so thanks again my southern bird lover for the patience you have had...you know who you are...sorry for the unwanted delay in this matter...and hope this hasn't wrecked my credibility...thanks again....

well got another board in the ground...three left...out to work I go
 
Hey Birdman! Been great talking to you a bit. Thought I would throw those flies up that I showed you that you liked. This is a very interesting thread to read through for sure as well!
