With a spot that large on it's head that should be a roo. Though the stripes on the back are clearer and darker than I would expect. You should post this on the Legbar page

I have the same question. This baby appears to be 4-6 weeks old, and I just want to check as I'm not entirely convinced the people at the feed store were knowledgable and this was the last one they had. Claim it is a hen but I would like additional opinions. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
