That is good to hear. It looked pretty awful.

 

   40 waxing and waning free-range birds.
 I truly love animals, both male and female, large and small, regardless of how important humans may shallowly deem them.

I wanted to let everybody know this guys foot got completely well. The toe has a lot of scarring and the toe is now crooked, but he is fine and it doesn't bother him. It took about 2 months for it to completely heal and we became best buds in the process.   

Swedish Flower Hens, Silver Ameraucana, Gold and Lemon East Frisian Gull and lovely Silverudd Blue (formerly called Blue Isbar)

-Also limited Black Ameraucana available.

-Several ongoing projects too! including super green egg-layers.

I am new with no chicks yet. I am so happy your Rooster recovered thanks to your perseverance. I get very discouraged when I see posts about sick birds. Thanks for posting a follow up and not giving up on him🐔
