That is good to hear. It looked pretty awful.

 

   40 waxing and waning free-range birds.
 I truly love animals, both male and female, large and small, regardless of how important humans may shallowly deem them.

I wanted to let everybody know this guys foot got completely well. The toe has a lot of scarring and the toe is now crooked, but he is fine and it doesn't bother him. It took about 2 months for it to completely heal and we became best buds in the process.   

Swedish Flower Hens, Silver Ameraucana, East Frisian Gull and lovely Silverudd Blue (formerly called Blue Isbar)

-Also limited Queen Silvia available.

I am new with no chicks yet. I am so happy your Rooster recovered thanks to your perseverance. I get very discouraged when I see posts about sick birds. Thanks for posting a follow up and not giving up on him🐔
