Thank you so much everyone for your warm welcome. I have been getting acquainted navigating this site and there is soo much
wonderful resources here. I am so happy to be a part of the lovely group!

I have a silver laced wynadotte, a leghorn, an amerucana, a barnyard mix, 2 maranxRIR and one chicken that is supposed to be a Buff orpington but now I am starting to have doubts. I will take a pic of her tomorrow and post it up on the appropriate section to figure out what she really is! Join me then! :)

I hope it is a Buff Orpington. I've raised them for years and they are beautiful, and very friendly, calm, and gentle. My children, and now my granddaughter (pictured in my avatar), made lap pets of ours. Also they are good layers of large, brown eggs. I'll check out your picture after you post it tomorrow. :eek:)
