Alright so I'm wanting to raise some meat birds for my family and friends. Before I get into the questions, for starters, I'll give my background a little bit. Live on one acre on the central coast of California, hunting and fishing background so the processing doesn't bother me etc it's just the logistics I have questions on. Right now my biggest concern is the fact that the only level ground I have on my lot is where my house is, and it's not a large enough area to do a salatin style chicken tractor. I have about a half acre of grass and open space to run the broiler pens, however there is a slope to it. Do you guys think a slight slope will hinder the operation when it comes to the broilers' abilities to move around? Thanks for any info you've got, I appreciate the help as always.
