My chick is about two weeks old and has been very slow to progress in comparison to his peer. He poops weird orangish poops. Sometimes they are solid looking but sometimes it's watery. He is also always hunched over and doesn't seem to stand up straight or walk around much and doesn't seem to have an appetite (or he never eats when I'm there). Yesterday I gave him a bath and immediately dried him off and it seemed like he was constipated because after I cleaned him up he pooped a massive poop. This has been going on for about one and a half weeks almost two and it is my first time raising chicks. I do have a flock but I am not very experienced in raising chicks and would really appreciate any help

Always hunched over like this

Its hard to tell from the third picture, but there's a possibility he may have coccidiosis. It looks sort of like bloody poop. If you don't mind, here is some questions I have:

What have you been feeding him?

Was he like this when you first hatched him/ when he go to you?

Is his environment too wet and warm?

Did he ever drink water with fecal matter in it that you have seen?

Are his eyes funky looking?

And his foot looks a bit odd, is he able to stand and walk on it?

The reason I ask if he has funky eyes is the way he looks in the second photo is a little off, like Marek's. Of course please don't take my advice too seriously because I am in no way an expert or vet. My best advice to you is to get a fecal sample and immediately send it to a vet, get a test on it. Second option would be to cull him, but I don't think you want to do that.

I just got this little guy from my aunt and she says shes been feeding him birdseeds since she doesn't have access to a feed store and that was for about a week and a half? I just went to the feed store today since I've been home and I got him some chick starter and yes he has always been like this since he got to us. I want to say that his environment was too cold because my aunt was afraid of the heating lamp causing a fire so she would always turn it off when she went to work and so the chick never got any light when no one was at home. I don't ever think he was exposed to water with fecal matter in it. I changed the water everyday eversince I got him. His eyes look normal but he sleeps a lot since he doesn't move around a lot. And yes you are correct his feet are a little off. I think his toe that was supposed to grow in the dorsal direction did not grow in the right direction and I'm pretty sure that's the cause of his hunched over position and unsteadiness. Is there still time to correct it?

^ that far foot seems to be the problem
This next picture is one of his poop from about ten minutes ago.

I am glad you have him on starter/grower, birdseed doesn't have much nutrition for a growing chick. His feet can be corrected, since we can rule out Marek's. There is a lot of tutorials on that in google and on the site. The poop looks more normal now, and that's good. Keep a close eye on him and he will probably be better.
