Thought it might be useful to have info on the various drugs we use in peafowl.

Albendazole (Valbazen) - Wormer

Dose for birds is not listed here, but my research has shown that the most effective dose for poultry is 20mg/kg.

Enrofloxacin (Baytril) - Antibiotic

Fenbendazole (Safeguard) - Wormer

LL

Nystatin (Medistatin) - Antifungal

Kathy, I think this is awesome. Great idea!

A couple of thoughts... it may be easier to search if the different medications go into individual posts.

We should come up with a way to address anecdotal information... what pea owners are using it for, and typical dosages... reading through all the stuff is beyond what some folks can do.

Do you mind if I share the link with the French peafowl forum? I think they would find this very helpful.

For now I'll put everything in the one post, then maybe all of us can decide the best way to organize it? Feel free to use anything I post.
