"Oh, please. I'm simply riveted," Verity said sarcastically.

"Go on," Clemmie insisted. Verity shot her a dirty look, which she ignored. This was what she'd been waiting for.

One fish hooked... Dominor thought, then continued, speaking mainly to Clemmie, "The people I speak of, the ones that would use you for their own gain, or cage you if you didn't comply, call themselves the SASD - Seattle Ambroscus Supervision Division." He shifted his gaze to Verity, "We are The Ambroscus Order."

Verity raised an eyebrow. "Because that doesn't sound like a creepy cult at all," she said acidly.

Dominor looked back to Verity, unfazed, and replied, "I'm sorry that it gave you that impression, but we are no such thing. The Order was started many years ago, to protect us from the rest of humanity, who wish to destroy us."

He looked to Clemency, then back to Verity, his tone more direct as he continued, "That's why you both hide that you are above average, you can't let others know, because they won't understand. We are all in the same position, so we band together for our own protection, understand?"

Clemmie was nodding. I am going to strangle that girl. "And we know that you're telling the truth…how? Maybe humanity wished to destroy you, because you're a bunch of crazy psychopaths who break into people's homes and force Kool-Aid down their throats," said Verity.

Dominor laughed, then stopped abruptly and replied, his tone a bit quicker than before, "You want proof? That's easy, just go outside, go show someone, anyone, what you are, and they will fear, hate, and reject you. For the truth, you only have to look at yourself. You know I'm right, Verity."

"Okay, maybe you have a point there. But you know what? You could be freaking Magneto for all I know. And you know what, Domino? None of you look like Superman to me." She strode forward, one recently home-manicured finger raised, one hip cocked to the side, "And I'm not joining your little cult just because you say so. Neither is my sister. Shut up Clemmie."

"You aren't her keeper, Verity. Clemency can make her own decisions just as you can make yours." Dominor replied, stepping closer to Verity, and was about to continue, when Donovan spoke up.

"Ver, me and my lil' sis, Caitlyn, we were in the same predicament as you and your sister, the equivalent of the SASD that was after us in North Hampton, England." Donovan explained with a scowl, his English accent more prevalent because of the heavy emotions attached to his words, "We had done nothin' wrong, my sis was only six! But they didn't care, and so we had to leave our family and run. The Order was the only safe place for us when we ended up in Seattle, and it still is. Don't try to demonize us. You need to think carefully about where you want to end up, safe or sorry, because if the SASD finds you two, which they will, you'll regret it for the rest of your very short life..."

Verity had been about to snap at Dominor, but now she rounded on Donovan, "First off: Don't call me Ver. Second, I don't know who you are. I don't know who the SASD are. You could both be bad, or misunderstood, or whatever. But Clemmie and I –seriously, Clemmie, shut up and think about it – aren't going to join you after we've only heard your side of the story, after meeting you once, especially if during the course of that meeting you broke into the house and tried to recruit us into some obscure Brotherhood of Mutants cult. So you want to prove to me I can trust you? Get out of my house. Leave quietly, put the door back on its hinges and try not to let it hit you on the way out." Clemmie looked furious, but she kept silent. For now. Maybe I got through to her…or maybe she's waiting to break out of here and join a cult.

Name: Bruce Killian
Alias: Marco (Why? He likes a laugh. “Who are you, hero?” “Marco.” “Marco?” “Polo.”)
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Allegiance: SASD, but isn’t really… Devoted… Because of his habits of never showing up at HQ, Elizabeth assigned an agent to keep an eye on him. (See Lisa Jefferson)
Ability: Limited psionics, although his powers… don’t all apply to him yet. He has telekinesis, and levitation down, however his psychoscopy will occasionally leap out and scare him to death, though it rarely happens.
Personality: Cocky. Very cocky. Isn’t disturbed by being approached by anyone, but enjoys pushing everyone, just a tad at a time towards a cliff. Is an Antihero in a way. Is quite a flirt, and is one of those “My name’s Bruce, want to know my big secret?” He’s a well-tempered guy, although it is possible to get him angry, it will throw his powers out of balance.
Relationship: None currently
Picture/Description:

History: An average childhood, but made sure that his mother never found out about his powers. He has made a healthy living… for a street performer. He doesn’t really live “high class” or really even “middle class.” Ever since he started developing telekinesis he’s loved watching people stand open-mouthed at his tricks, which explains his love for street performances.
Username: Dragapacacorn
Other: When he’s using his powers to control anything more than the equivalent to a handful of forks, his eyes will gain a green “aura.” Depending on how much he’s controlling, the more obvious it becomes. This “aura” is also affected by his anger, although not as obvious with other strong emotions.

Donovan gave an insincere smile. He didn't like the Order, but as long as he served them, it was a safe place for Caitlyn and him, and in his opinion, Verity and Clemency needed a safe place, it wouldn't be long before the SASD would find them.

Dominor nodded at Verity, giving her a slight smile, "We'll leave then, Verity." He raised his hand as he looked over to the desk, a pen lifting off the top, writing elegantly on a scrap of paper before falling back on its side. "There's my number, call me when you change your mind " Dominor said, turning to to leave, "We'll be checking in on you in the meanwhile. Until we see each other again."

Seiko, Mara and Donovan also turned to leave, this was a pretty normal reaction for a target, and it wasn't like they were going to kidnap Verity and Clemency if their leader didn't tell them to, though, he could very easily have them come back that night, which was also pretty normal.
