I'm having a hard time telling if this will be a male or female. The male was a Buford Bronze and the female was white.

Thanks for your help.

I think this is a male pie blue. Suggestions? Input?

Thanks

The top one looks like a male black shouldered must have them hidden genes

the bottom looks to be an india blue male not seeing the pied coloring but could throw pieds if one of the parents is a pied

these birds are around 6 months of age

Those birds can't be 6 months unless the pictures were taken 3 months ago? I just posted a bunch of pics of our 6 month olds and they have a lot more color. The first one is a BS and too early to sex accurately, the second is a male IB and unless that light spot is a white feather on top of his head the Pied isn't too visible.

I would tend to agree. I have a late hatch four month old that is way more developed looking and bigger too. Perhaps the OP could post some more recent pictures?

Yes, this is a picture when they were 3 months old. I haven't had a chance to take updated pictures.
