This is my metal shed (it was given to me after it blew away in a wind storm) I insulated it with 2 inch Styrofoam and covered it with the veneer off of old interior doors from Habitat for Humanity (hens eat Styrofoam the same as we eat pop corn). It is cool in the summer time when it counts. My coop is not fancy but it very functional, easy to clean, collect eggs, and practical. I love it.It was not my first choice or executive decision to use a metal shed, this is one reason why.
Quote: I have styrofoam sheets on the outer walls covered with Luan most of the way up where they can't peck it. Should have did the same on the roof.

That is why i don't recommend these there is now way you can cut 15 feet of openings is the sides of these, without compromising the integrity of the strength of it.These don't have any internal bracing. The whole shed works together as a whole. Most will advocate around 1 square foot (144 square inches) of ventilation per average bird.
Your humidity level is way too high, and could cause respiratory issues.
