Well i don't live in Indiana. But i was told that chickens don't like the smell of vicks vapourub! What I did when we had two roosters was rub vapourub over his legs, wattles, comb and its back. I suggest doing this to both in case but if they start a fight they will smell the vapourub and will back of. This may not work for you but it worked for me when I had two malay roosters (it could've ended really bad)
