There are some Peach who look Cameo and some Cameo who have the look of Peach ... it depends on what month the picture is taken! With this bird ... we had doubts ... too!

Some says , a new color : Raw umber ... i never heard of that color !

The first Raw umber comes from the mating of a white peahen (father and mother Blue silver pied) and an ordinary peacock Blue pied. Peachick are born white and tookcolor later.

When they are crossed with each other ... their offspring are Raw Umber color .

Sometimes the tail is white .... sometimes pinkish brown!

I was wondering ... that's not what is called: Leucistic brown?

My bird ended up being Taupe as far as we can tell at this time. It is being bred to a taupe from Brad Legg this year to confirm for sure.

The two hens were bred last year back to the father. The mating produced taupe in silver pied and dark silver pied. No whites were hatched but that was just due to the luck of the draw. We also bred a purple brother of the taupes to two of his sisters and also produced a bunch of taupes in various patterns.
