She is my best hen.

But not just because she's pretty, but mainly for her personality. She put up with everything my kids had to dish and kept coming up to them, loving them.

MadamPoofyBrow, I agree. I have some really neat crosses, I love them. It's a crap shoot - never know what you're going to get. Her dad is a silver laced Polish (gorgeous) and mom is either a laced Wyandotte or a Barred Rock X. Her brother was a beautiful light blue or lavender laced, but he just dropped dead one day when they were 6 months old. Her sister is pitch black, and very striking as well.
