I am contemplating ordering 100 foot long instead of for a 36 foot long plastic sheet to double over and give extra insulation. What do you all recommend? How to keep the sheets separate, Pump air inbetween doubled over sheets?
Eh... I don't like the pump air idea.

I have always thought if I redid my greenhouse I would have a solid well insulated roof. Walls whatever I could afford... plastic sheeting or whatever.

Good luck.

Fun and exciting and stressful. Hope it turns out like you want it.

Possibly after doubling the plastic sheeting, place styrofoam at different strategic places to keep the sheeting separated? I can not afford solid walls or roofing.

If I ever get it done.., plan on just a single layer of plastic, never thought of doubling it. Probably could have one inside and one outside? If you could, might be easier to get the air space?
I plan on using mine more just to start plants earlier in pots and transplant into the garden, and to keep late stuff in for later. I was thinking of using a sheet of plywood for a table, supported by four or six 55gal plastic barrels filled with water as a heat sink to help keep the greenhouse warm during our early spring.
