Brinsea Mini Advance doesn't turn at all!

I just opened and set up my brand new Mini Advance. It heats up, fan works, all controls work, but it doesn't turn.

I have the tray in correctly, and even tried watching it turn with the lid off. The gear on the end of the motor just does not turn. I've emailed Brinsea customer support, but was wondering if anyone has had similar issues or if I'm doing something stupid? Ive read the manual over and over and can't find anything in it or online.

I have only heard of people accidentally putting the tray in upside down. I hope you get it sorted out, better to find the issue before you start to incubate!
 
When you set it up through the Digital Control System, you made sure the "turning" unit was switched on, correct?  If switched on, the line "/" rotates at the corner of the display.

Yeah, it's set on auto for every 15 minutes. The "turn alarm" goes off every 15, but no motor noise or anything. Just a beep. I can do a test turn by pressing the far left button and the middle together, but same thing: just a beep and nothing.
 
Sounds like a problem in the motor.  Best to call the help support at 1-888-667-7009 on Monday.  They are available from 8:30 to 5 pm Monday through Friday.

Here in the US they are a very small company/distributor out of a very small town in FL. I'm sure they will get back to you tomorrow, now that the holidays are over. Their customer service is known for being very good!
 
Called them on Monday, and got my new 'bator yesterday!

The UPS guy picked up my old one an dropped off the new one. Quick and painless indeed! The new one works wonderfully and I'm letting it run through a cycle to make sure all is good before I put eggs in.

Glad they got it to you so quickly! Hope the hatch goes well! I'm setting eggs in mine tomorrow...
