Excellent article... I hope this helps. I have some chicken the same age that are ill. Lost a few and don't know why. Lost one the other day... My mom said he was skinny and breathing hard and then died a few minutes later. I keep checking them constantly. Found one really skinny. Looks heathy with normal stool. Trying nurse her back to health. I am clue less as to what is going on.

no this didn't help all you did a tell me you have sick and dying chickens we are trying to fix them find medicine get them healthy again my wife bought some tylan50 I suggest you buy some as well good luck
 
I call Peter Brown (first state vet supply) for a consult. He thinks mine have coccidiosis. This is highly likely since I did have an outbreak when they were chicks.
The antibiotic is great for respiratory issues. I would worry if my chickens afterwards would be carriers for what ever they have.

I have one that is sneezing and has snot and thought another was sick so I went to my local grain and feed store and got petrx and I works awesome and summer for there eater and giving them heat and warm there doing great

how are your chickens I have 2 that had cocci the respiratory thing I've yet to pet mine back there 100% healthy and eating I've been told the flock I have 17 birds with 4 roosters all other birds are great I dont know what to do myself did yours get better and back with the rest did the others get sick I dont want any to get sick and die because of 2 chica I have no idea what to do myself
