~~~~Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Eggs
I bought 24 Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Hatching Eggs from Rhi13 March 5th, 2015. Not only were the incredibly well packed, each egg individually wrapped in bubble paper, placed in the box with the ends packed with shaving, and placed over more shavings, then topped off with more shavings. Oh! Don't forget the foam pads top and bottom! She also took the time to ensure that all of the air cells were at the top. Then that box was placed into another box that was packed with about 2" of packing peanuts all the way around and a heat pack to keep the eggs from freezing. Fragile & This side up with an arrow were all over the box, along with instructions to call me from the post office when they arrived. NO EGGS WERE BROKEN OR DAMAGED & she included extras!!!
Now after placing them on the counter to acclimate and let the air cells settle, 21 days as of today, 04/02/2015, we have 4 chicks already in the brooder, 5 that have pipped, and countless more that are wiggling and chirping, but no visible pip marks. Let me also add, we are located at about 6450' in elevation in Northern New Mexico, the eggs came from sea level and this is my first hatch. Dealing with Elevation & Newbie Factors I am more than impressed and can definitely say this lady knows how to send hatching eggs!
