Who left this track in my run?

I didn't know this before getting chickens, but apparently 20 miles outside of DC we have plenty of chicken hungry predators (including coyotes, bobcats, etc). Not sure what this thing was though, hopefully it doesn't come during the day.

I think with canine prints (dogs, foxes or coyotes) you would see nails which I don't see In the picture. Do you see nails in the prints Fox prints here look very like our shelties' prints.
Tomorrow I'll have to go out and look in the snow. Wasn't paying attention today but will check out the dogs prints, We also have a large dog) for nails, etc, and then will go to the upper part of the driveway where the dogs don't go. Husband said he saw fox prints coming down the driveway this morning.
I can tell fox prints from the shelties because the fox prints come into and out of the yard which the dogs don't do. Also, the dogs tend to jump around and play while the foxes go more in a straight line. Their walk is different, too. They single track.
Neither foxes nor cats would have a problem jumping a six foot fence.

man, protecting chickens can be tough. I've had foxes come during the middle of the day to get my chickens...they can be pretty bold during the winter.
