Mottled Ameraucana Thread

Hi Sara....been having a heck of a time finding some nice Mottled Ameraucana (IMO they're AOV as they breed true). We have some lovely English Mottled Orpington which are my husband's favorite birds.....next to his Ameraucana. I'm pretty sure he has no idea of this variety cuz he would be talking non stop about them! LOL
His birthday is end of June and I thought it would be a wonderful surprise but I'm at my wit's end. Would you happen to have any hatching eggs or even better; chick's available for shipping?

Oh! I am so very sorry to disappoint, but I do not have any chicks or eggs at this time I don't have any breeding pens set up, and won't until later this year, closer to September.

I’m going to see if I can start this thread up again! In 2 weeks I will be getting 2 mottled ameraucana chicks and I’m pretty darn excited! When it comes to mottled birds, how much does their chick down reflect what colours their adult plumage will be?

Any advice on how to choose a good looking mottled bird from a day old?
