does anyone know how long bobwhite quail live for as I have had a male that will be 8 in May this year

I am not sure either...I have a hen that is 8 years and two males that are 6 years. Time will tell!!

You guys got me interested, I've looked for about an hour on the internet and haven't found a good answer (although one internet expert says they can live up to 5 years in captivity
). What I did find amusing were the long winded replies to this question elsewhere online that never actually answered the question.
