I'm going to be grumpy today. My sleep completely ruined by mosquitoes. Somehow they got inside the mosquito net last night.

can't like that Shad- ugh, even just to hear them buzzing - drives me nuts. I'd like to wring their nasty necks, if they have them.

Rain is expected here. Along with another thunderstorm. We've lost power twice in one week because of storms. I hope we won't this time.
Mom is out of the hospital and home. On oxygen. I hope she doesn't blow the house and herself to kingdom come when she starts smoking again... which would be right about 2 minutes after my sister got her settled in at home.

Oh gosh, I had a patient in the hospital on oxygen that smoked in the bathroom. Had to find her ciggies and take them.

No rain here again so I guess it is firewood and either today or tomorrow, getting the DS$ set for school. Oh well...

G'morning cafe. Heat warning for the next 3 days but it doesn't look much better afterward, hovering just under 110 into next week. On the plus side the nights are getting longer and the mornings are cooler.
I have 2 eggs in my incubator that were shipped and candled this morning, air cells are a little iffy but the embryos are growing
They're Dorking/Red Ranger mixes. Super stoked about that, they'd already been in someone's incubator a few days, then I drove them home in an egg carton for 2 hours.
I was throwing scratch for the crew this morning and of course the randy boys are after the pullets. The big white roo captured a girl and was busy trying his thing when another roo ran up and rammed him in the booty and literally knocked him off that pullet! The white roo stood around looking confused.
