Good afternoon, all! Headed to drain mainlines and put wheel lines back together after work and then home to blow out sprinklers. Weather outlook keeps getting worst and worse, hoping that it isn't as bad as they're saying. This is where it stands today:View attachment 1917861

Wow Meg, that's crazy! I hope all your preparations go smoothly.

I hope you've got your wood dry and under cover.
I need to sort that out here although Oct and Nov are usually reasonably warm, during the day at least.

Well, the wood that we have is under cover. Unfortunately, we have not stocked up for the year.:hmm We usually get a snow storm during September and then it melts off.

My sister lives in NM. First few years they got some light snow but NO stores carried any shovels. My sister had to order a couple on line. Before that, like the rest of us, had grown up in or suburbs of Chicago. We knew all about snow.

My son grew up with it too, so when people panic over a few inches of snow, where he lives- he just drives through it. No need for snow tires, never used them in Chicago area either.
