Your brood looks great, and what a pretty tree! Smell good too?Hey, Perris! I'm doing good, thanks for asking. How are you doing? Sorry to hear about the hatch rate
I'm doing fine thanks Meg. Both my home grown eggs hatched, but only 1 of 6 purchased and shipped eggs - and the seller is trying to blame the post or the broody, despite the eggtopsy showing that none of the other 5 were fertile (and the 1 that survived the post just fine was in the same package as the other 5 that didn't, of course). My poor Maria was just wasting her time with them. So glad I added two of Janeka's to the clutch. After losing the other Wellie and her clutch to the fox in May, I felt the need to reproduce some Welsummer. Anyway, we've one black, one brown, and one yellow chick to add to the flock, Laugharne, Brecon and Zac. The last is the purchased ccl and it's a he, of course I hope to get some photos tomorrow when Maria brings them out.
