You've got some neat looking chunks of wood in there. Did you snag any of it for your lamps?
I'm trying to finish the "public" space in the house while the weather is not quite good enough to work exclusively outside. I had to raise the height of the rough opening on the closet in the mud room. The inside of the closet was finished and painted. I just never finished installing the jambs, trim and doors. The work went better than I expected. I've got the jambs in.
I also got the jambs installed in the entryway into the mud room and shortened the jambs on the cellar door and ripped 1/4" off the bottom of the door. Still have to fart around with getting it back in the RO correctly but not a bad days work.
Bella is not a 'construction dog'. Ben didn't care a bit when the pneumatic gun fired. Bella was shaking like a leaf. She's got to get her act together because I have a long way to go to finish this house!

Chick is the same way. Anything pneumatic and she's a goner.

As he got older Rascal would hear a sharp noise and jump like someone goosed him,
he even fell over once. Poor Pup.
I had to stop crackling my seltzer cans and bottles.
The girls showed their appreciation for their first day roaming the pen by coughing up 16 eggs.
Both Tink and Tonk are on eggs each night. Tonk is the screecher. I think her belly is plucked too so she may end up in the breaker.
But there are 3 bantam eggs in the basket so she's still laying.
