good morning sour!!!
all of us have guardian angels......some of ours just have to work harder than others.....
I am fairly sure mine spends most of her time laughing at me
ETA:And occasionally catching me before I fall down the stairs, or at least preventing me from hurting myself. I once fell down my basement stairs while heavy pregnant with thing 1. Somehow nothing was hurt except my pride and my behind.
My guardian angel puts in overtime. Sometimes, though, I think she gets tired, and is the voice in my head that says, "well, have we learned anything?" right after I do something dumb - and she's probably the voice that says, "this is not a good idea" just before things take a bad turn, too.
Like the time when I was 5-6 month pregnant with my son, and I tripped over a roller-blading 6-year-old niece and went sprawling in the street. We were visiting family; I didn't want anybody else to worry or feel guilty, so I downplayed the whole thing, but I had let my right knee take the brunt of the fall and it swelled to huge proportions. I was still hobbling when I saw my OB/GYN a week later; he took one look at me, sighed, and said, "now what have you done to yourself?" When he heard the story, he mimed a dope slap and suggested a padded room on the 10th floor of the local hospital (the psycho ward) for the duration of the pregnancy. I think I must have chipped my kneecap - there is an odd bump on it to this day.
There actually was some good came of that mess. That knee had been a problem for years; I could just be walking along and have it go "out" on me, leaving me limping for days. Perhaps all the inflammation healed the previous problem or something, but once it finally healed up, it stopped doing that, and it has been sound since. Not a treatment method I'd recommend, though.
