BYC Café

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

The roof is ready to shingle but it was so hot up there that my legs were burning on the black ice & water barrier just trying to install the rake drip edge. So I'm waiting until next weekend when it will be cooler to shingle and am instead heading back to the pond to try to get the bottom drain, settlement tank and skimmer installed. I'll be working in thick muck. Should be such fun.

In the 26 years I've been coming to this creek I have never ever seen it so dry.
I'm standing right in the middle of the creek bed facing downstream here:

This is facing upstream:

The first placed, angled boulder is usually completely under the water line.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee! It rained here again... and it is Breezy and sunny this morning so the pines are shedding their old needles.
I am getting used to not having kids in the house with cooking amounts and just waiting for the next thing, it has been an adjustment, not bad, but still different for sure.
Penny, how are you doing besides not digging the coffee? (The Worst!) Hugs!

It took me a while to figure out cooking for just me when I moved DH. I've got it down pretty well now but if there's nothing already made and I don't feel like cooking, I just don't eat. That was never an option when DH was here.
