BYC Café

Thank you.

My run has a roof. The neighbor's run doesn't, however. Wild geese, cranes, and ducks are plentiful in the area, because we're on a river.
I think the fact that you are on a waterfowl flyway has a great impact. So far, my area has avoided any active cases, this year and last. But we are between flyways.
I hope I don't have to lock down my flock.

Good morning Cafe and thanks for the coffee. We, too, have another day of cold rain which makes the highs in the high 50's not feel that warm. I've got my morning fire raging in the stove to take the chill off the air for the day.

Another night of insomnia but not as bad as usual as I was only wide awake from about 2:20 to 4:30 before I managed to drift off and catch a couple more hours of sleep but I have to go to work so I'm still going to be dragging.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

I'm STILL waiting to get my shot scheduled.
I've called the Dr. office twice to ask about the status. Yesterday I was told that my insurance denied the authorization! They needed proof that I was in pain!!!! I you freaking kidding me?! I can't even sleep at night without being on the meloxicam and have been limping for months. The pain is so sharp when I first stand up I nearly can't. And I'm coming up on 9 months of this.
I just took my last step down dose of prednisone and will run out of the meloxicam in a week.
The Dr. office told me they deal with this all the time. It's like the policy for every authorization request that comes through is to immediately deny it.

While waiting for your insurance to give permission, you can try the following, it helps me immensely to stretch and take pressure of my damaged discs:

Sit on a chair with armrests. Position your hands in the middle of the armrest and gently push yourself up until your behind is no longer seated but floating above the seat and you feel your lumbar vertebrae stretch. Hold for a few minutes and gently move your hips just a little back and forth, just a little wiggle, then gently lower yourself to the seat.

Repeat several times a day.

You can also hang upside down like this to get relief:

This also helps with stretching the thoracic spine.

Good morning and thanks for the HOT Coffee. It is 21 F and over a foot of snow. I am calling BS on this weather! We are heading out to see DS$ and go to a wrestling banquet and I am pretty sure plowing was not on the list of things to do. They are also saying that there is a chance for a biggie next weekend.
:th :idunno:hmm:lau

Enjoy the weekend, Cafe!
