We think it's a mink...now what!?

What camera system are you using for your coop cam? I have an Amcrest...mine is not that clear, although I'm dealing with transmitting a wifi signal into a metal barn so it was harder to get a signal in there. I notice it's 11:30 pm on your cam and the picture is really clear and looks clear enough to be daylight.

I'm sure the chickens are glad that mink is trapped in the cage. One less worry for you too.

Im using a foscam fi9831p connected to a linksys wireless bridge that connects to a linksys router in the house. the cam wireless would not reach the house so i don't use it, also have a led light on overhead and turned the ir lights off. Software is blue iris trial version.

I wasn't sure if computer equipment could withstand the cold environment in a barn and since my barn is metal, I wasn't sure if a bridge would even work. My camera comes with a removable antenna so I replaced it with a Yagi high gain antenna and mounted it outside. I was thinking of adding an antenna to the router too to see if I could get more bars.
Right now I have it aimed at the entrance to the barn but I need to hang it up higher to get a wider angle. I haven't seen a thing on my camera though. Not one possum, not a skunk. So I wonder what has scared them all off. I know that something attacked one possum , we found it bleeding in the grass and it died later. And I found another possum dead beside the barn fence.
