Down by the base of its tale feathers there are those nice silky feather called saddle feathers. His are pointed and that means roo. Also he has a big comb for a Easter Egger hen.
 
Yep, male. Those stringy saddle feathers, and beautiful bright orange and red coloring give him away. The dark red patches on his wings are also another male indicator.
 
Your bird is a beautiful cockerel - most likely an Easter Egger, but decidedly not an Araucana. As noted above, the long, flowing feathers that are coming in in the hackle and saddle areas are distinctly male - think of them as "Fabio feathers". The bird also has a comb that appears to be showing three distinct rows of "peas" which is another indicator of male vs. female.
