I have 2 bourbon reds I thought they were both hens they were born last May but this last week end when ever my grandson goes in pen he is like a (bird whisperer ) the lightest colored one would continually fan out and strut around him until he pets it head and neck then it put its feathers down. My question is is this a gobbler because it fans out and struts or not. It does not have even a small beard so I didn't know if hens strut or fan out or not.
Thanks for any reply

I'll try to post some pics later in week but do hens fan out and strut with tail fanned and wings down and red on neck?

no only toms fan out with wings to the ground. hens are very plain lol.

You are mistaken. Hens do display as you can see in the following thread. Scroll down (about halfway through her post) and you will see a photo containing both a tom and a hen in full display. I have personally seen my own hens strut and parade around in full display during breeding season.
