Dumbest Things People Have Said About Your Chickens/Eggs/Meat - Part 2 : Chicken Boogaloo.

The thing is, that is excepted. You get homework, and parents get annoyed if you complain about it, and so do teachers. Also, parents often expect the students to stick up for themselves, but when they do, the teachers get mad. I had a talk with one of my teachers once, (tried to tell her that it was getting ridiculous, and that there was too much work, but it was all to easy, took too much time, and her deadlines were crazy) and she wrote an angry email to my parents. If I try to tell teachers that it is too much, people just say "Well its not Middle School anymore."

Gosh, who knew high school could be 50% less difficult than life after high school. Try telling your Boss that there is too much work for you to do and hen tell me how enjoyable it is to be broke and unemployed when you can no longer freeload off of your parents.

Your boss wouldn't have you doing work after hours, at least not unpaid work every single day. If they did there would definitely be something wrong, and I doubt you'd stay on. I'll say that when I was in High School I had mostly Advanced Placement courses and there was a lot of homework involved, as was expected, but it was never more than I could handle. I wasn't in Band or Dance or anything like that and I certainly would not have been able to handle it if i Had been. High School was far more difficult than College, especially since College typically involves shorter hours and little to no homework for most classes.

Education is given to you free of charge and you should be thankful you got some. The schools and teachers owe you NOTHING.
Education is supposed to help you succeed in life. If it doesn't do that, then yes, they do owe you something.

Me: "Hey school system how do I cook, do taxes, and look for housing that I can afford and make my way in life?"
School: "And now we will study the water cycle for the ninth year in a row"
Me: "Thanks..."

No, actually we do study the water cycle every year.

Also, I know at least five people suffering from depression (among a variety of stress-related mental illnesses) in my friend group alone.
