Rooster won't eat after a bad fight

You may remember in the summer I posted about my two roosters, asking for advice which one to keep. Well, in the end I just couldn't let go either of them so instead I separated them and created two flocks instead. Everything went fine for long months until yesterday somehow one of them managed to get to the other part of the yard (I still need to figure out how) and they apparently had a serious fight. One of them is perfectly ok now, but the other looks quite bad. I applied antiseptic to the wounds (no open cuts or bleeding now) and he behaves normal, walks around, crows, can and will fly up to the roost etc. but one thing he wont do is eat. He just looks at the food closely and then turns head away. (Even his favourite food, scrambled eggs.) I tried to force feed him but didn't manage by myself so gave up for now. I wonder if I should try to feed him with the help of somebody or maybe I should wait until he sort of gets over the shock of the fight? Thank you for any help!

Oh, and he's all by himself now in a separate coop. Maybe he's missing his hens that's why he won't eat?
