Anybody know when they will start selling in New Jersey? I want to try raising some baby ducks. Can anyone reccomend a decent backyard breed? (Neighbors close by)

Greetings from Kansas, ispanky, and :welcome!  Great to have you aboard.  As you've tagged onto an old thread, you might not get many responses.  You might consider clicking the Start a New Thread tab on this forum and intro yourself so we can give you a proper BYC welcome.  :)  As to your question, you might consider posting in the NJ state thread in this link:   http://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you

Hope you find the ducks you seek - best wishes and thanks for joining BYC!!

You could just give your local TSC a phone call and ask. They may also be able to tell you what breeds they are getting in.

Check in on the duck forum to see what others may recommend, you'll be able to get a lot of information on raising ducks from them.
