They had to be separated for being a nuisance to one another. Well one of their pens blew over and they got into a wire fight. Themselves didn't hurt eachother as much as the wire cut them up. Any suggestions on how to help comfort them and heal them quick! Their my babies and I'm worried sick!!!

Bring them both in the house, separate cage/room for each. Clean off all the blood and then blow dry. Use styptic powder on anything that won't stop bleeding. cover the wounds in triple antibiotic. Put them in their areas with food and water cover them (if in cages or something)with towels so that it's darker than the room and let them rest.

Thank u but one has a cut on his neck from wire that's very bad not deep but is open. I'm worried he can't eat or drink. And his breathing is funny! I really don't want to lose him. Can I bandage the neck in any way?

Well, I wouldn't unless it is super bad. Pack it full of triple antibiotic every day. Animals have a great capacity to heal with just a little tlc and help. If it starts to look infected, a course oral of antibiotics may help, but don't use that unless you have to.
Even if you tried to wrap it, with all the feathers, it wouldn't work and using vet wrap on the neck is pretty sketchy. Keep him separate until he is well scabbed over. If his wound is still visible after that, spray it with blu kote to hide it from the other chickens. Let us know how they are doing.

Ok this is day 3 my little rooster is looking better just got a swollen head but is drinking not eating yet but when he was out tuesday he ate a lot if whole corn so that maybe why. But my other rooster is bad still he's the one who cut his neck on wire. His breathing is funny n his eye is bubbling looks like everytime he tries to breath bubbles come out his eye. The blood has stopped. Just worried about infection. Hes a tough bird n beautiful. I need prayers I don't lose him. My husband n I don't have it in us to cull him. But he's in bad shape!!

I'm not sure about that but he has a nice size slit through his neck on the top layer of skin. So it makes his neck swell when breathing. Checked this morning eye is not bubbling anymore n breathing has stabled!! But gash is looking pretty bad gonna give him 1 more day of not bothering him them take him out n clean the old blood off. I'm hopeing he makes it though!

The wound needs to be cleaned and antibiotic ointment applied. Make sure any feathers that are irritating or covering the wound are removed. Trimming them with scissors is a good idea. The wound will not heal properly if it is covered in old blood.

Ok thank u I got some blood clotter n triple antibotic ointment for it. Its not bleeding but I'm sure it will hurt or maybe bleed alittle when I clean it. I sure hope he makes it.. Its been 3 days is that a good thing?

Like the above poster said, It is very important to clean the wound withe peroxide or betadine or at least water. Wash off all the blood, it is contaminated with germs. trim the feathers around the injury. Pack the cleaned wound with triple antibiotic every day! He will heal, you just need to get him cleaned up. Keep him caged and quiet until he is well scabbed over. before returning him to the coop, cover any visible scabs with blu kote to camouflage the scabs so others don't pick at him. Give him a chance, animals have an amazing ability to heal. Keep us posted ok?!
