PVC pipe waterer question - connect direct to hose?

That's exactly what I did for both my chickens and rabbits. I'm using a 330 gph pond pump to recirculate the water to keep the system from freezing. I would like to see your system when completed.


 
Hi Tara,
I just saw this and this is what I have designed concept is the same with a float valve.
As discussed by others the maximum pressure on the nipples is low ~ 5psi and also to stop the water from filling you need a valve to cutoff the flow.
I also recommend a tap timer for mains pressure when connect garden hose to the chicken drinker.
