Hi. I've looked through other threads to find similar symptoms but I haven't found anything. I have a 6 mo Blue Andalusian that I found last night on her side in the coop. She's normally a very energetic girl that I can never catch, but she wasn't moving when I picked her up. That is when I noticed she was skinny. I brought her inside and placed her in a box full of shavings, to keep her warm. I tried feeding her food and giving her water, but she kept closing her eyes and sitting. This morning, she hasn't gained her energy back. She's lethargic and nesting inside the box. She's not drinking or eating a lot, but she does get some food down. Does anyone know what might be wrong with her? None of my other chickens, all the same age, are sick. Thank you!

I had a rooster who was very lethargic and not eating. I brought him and started giving him water with honey in. That helped perk him and after a day or so, he started eating a little.

SO I am not really sure about what may be wrong, but maybe some honey water may help her.

It could be a number of different things, the one I would treat right away for is Coccidiosis. She may need to be wormed as well if she gets a little better.
