Ty, yes they in a LG pen, they have plenty things to do, I have hanging toys, roost, dusting bath, still they pecking..I give them boiled eggs, & lettece, sunflower seeds, worms, crickets & plus their feed..I think they are spoiled rotten bc if I leave & come bk in my house the roo starts crowing no matter what time of the day, then hens start making their clucking noises, & I'll go bk out & see feathers again..They so Bad, lol..I can't stay out there all day, had to even put a light I'm their house for them are they wouldn't go in it..They Spoiled..Ones comes here & they laugh bc they see how they do..Guess I did wrong by holding & talking to them, now they want me to sit a talk to them all day long..lol.. Ty for ur reply..Guess I will just watch their skin & make sure it don't get Red..Someone said u can buy this stuff called "Peck No More", & that stops them, but I just don't know abt putting stuff on them, what abt u, would u??..Tks again

I thought of that product too. Might be a good idea to use it now before there is a real problem. Nip it in the bud. Once they see blood they go crazy so try to stop them now. Are the nests for individuals and are they dark?

I have a light in the house, & the boxes are away from the light, I have shavings in their boxes & they stay very clean orher than a feather in them every now & then..I guess I will get some of that peck no more & try it..Ty!!

It could be one hen that has this bad habit. Watch them to see. Also check for mites as sometimes they get a lot of mites around the tail and vent and pick a lot to get rid of the irritation.
