Thank you! My rats have uri that won't go away, even with treatment. Most of them are doing very well with a specific filtering unit, open windows, constant cleaned cage, ect. However poor Carlisle was just older and his uri just got too bad. He was withering away and I couldn't stand seeing him suffer. So we had him euthanised. He was a American Blue

I'm so sorry. Have you tried changing their diet and taking them to the vet? How did all your rats get uri? Did you buy them like that? Good luck with the rest!

It's ok, Thank you! I did change their diet, to the Oxbow and I had gotten them veterinary treatment a few times and other home meds several times. Rats I read are born with uri in their system. However what sets it off I guess is the issue. I did buy my boys with uri, then everyone that I got from then on got uri when they arived (even in quarantine). I given my 2 girls new homes, with the new owner aware of everything. They are doing really well!! So now I have Miss Rosalie and Mr Emmett left

Hello -I saw a post where you stated you use D Earth but couldn't see what it was for. Do you use it to control mites and lice and if so, how do you use it and is it effective? Thanks!
