I just had one hatch and died. i have some layed on 1/26 1/27 1/28 and i am not sure what went wrong. What is internally pipped mean. And when should i do a safe hole. I have 10 call duck eggs total

Temp is 99.9 all the time and humidiy is 45% but i am buying a new gage cause the one i have keeps bounceing and there is no fun in my incubator. I read alot of you post on another person so i am picking up a spray bottel andsponges today

I am pretty sure the three dates i list are dead i looked at them with the flashlight app and there is no movement and they are really black

If it's cold in your area spray just once a day if it's warm in your area spray three times.

Calls are very challenging. Sounds like the one needed assistance and that is not odd for them.

OK let me see if I understand this correctly, you have several eggs with different due dates? are they all in the same bator? Do you have two bators???

Internal pip is when you candle them a day or two before they are due to hatch and you can see the bill has broken through the membrane and is in the air pocket of the egg. From there, they then pip the shell (external pip)

If they are all from those dates, even if placed in the incubator one day after each other, they should all hatch around the same day. Which would make them roughly 3 weeks old. You've got another week before they are due to hatch!
When you candle them, you should see mostly dark egg (where the baby is growing), an air pocket or empty space at the fat end of the egg, and maybe some veining around the end of the air pocket and where the baby is. You should also be able to see movement if they are still alive and growing
