I was told this is a lavender polish when I purchased this little one a week and a half ago...definitely polish but anyone know if that's correct?

I've never heard of a Lavender Polish before. I think that it is more likely that it is a White Crested Blue Polish.

It's not lavender. Way too dark. even as chicks they have a very distinct coloring- a light pastel grey color, check out pictures of lavender chicks.. recently there were some posted in this general area of lavender orpington chicks.
