Hi y'all! I'm Heather. I'm new here, but I've viewed this forum quite often for information. I have 2 Black Australorp hens, 2 Bantam mix hens and 1 rooster, 2 Gold Sexlink hens, 6 New Hampshire Red pullets, 3 Silkie chicks, 2 Light Brahma chicks, 2 Golden Buff chicks, 2 Pekin ducklings, 2 Rouen ducklings, and 2 Crested ducklings along with a ton of other animals. I look forward to learning a lot more from all of you. Thanks for having me!

Welcome to BYC, Heather. Glad you decided to our flock. Black Australorps are my favorite standard breed. I've raised them for years, adn they are extremely hardy, calm and gentle (my children and granddaughter made lap pets of ours), and excellent layers of large, brown eggs. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.

Glad you could join the flock! You must be very very busy there with your flock and all the other animals! Nearly a full time job i would think.
