I'm a new chicken owner an I just bought six baby chicks an I've had them for a couple days an they've been fine. But today they just started acting weird an one was in the water bowl an kinda drowned. So I took it out an gave it like mouth to beak an it started breathing again an now it's just laying in the sick box an its slightly breathing but it won't open its eyes or move or anything. I'm scared its gonna die or something what do I do???

To me it sounds like it has aspirated water into its lungs and probably got very cold from the water. Cold can be a very fast killer of chicks. If this chick has got into the water I would suggest you put clean marbles/pebbles into your water dish as soon as possible to stop others from drowning. I can't say your chick will be ok. Sorry to hear about your chick. @Yorkshire coop has given you great advice about putting marbles in the chick's water and posting in the emergencies/diseases section.

Agree with the advice you have already received. Baby chicks just drop to sleep anywhere and the marbles can help avoid accidental drowning. Hope the chick makes it. Do make the changes in the water fount asap and avoid other issues.

It may have gotten water in its lungs. In that case, there isn't much you can do. I would let it rest and see if it pulls through.
