Is there any way to slow the crystallization process of raw honey? I use the honey as a morning face cleanser and i noticed today that the honey is forming crystals. The crystals would be too harsh and abrasive on the skin so is there a way to slow the process or prevent it?

I hear you can heat the honey and then abruptly cool it but that would essentially ruin the raw part of the honey, wouldnt it?

Any thoughts? Suggestions?

You can definitely melt that crystallization by submerging the container in hot water. That's what I do but I don't have more information.

the honey is crystallizing because it's cold, Chickencanoe gave the best way to warm it back up and low and slow is the way to go and your honey will be perfect and they way the bees gave it to you all nutrients intact

Honey from different sources will crystalize at different rates; clover first, but crystals melt down at a low temp. As long as you are not "cooking it" it is all good when melted. Fabulous liquid gold!
