Ive awoken to a huge egg!

the egg on the left is a 65g egg.
Could this be linked with me feeding the hens the left overs from the turkey rearer 24% protein pellets. Probs one days food for them.

Anyway heres somewhere to collect all the extra large egg pictures. Does anyone know the weight in grams for egg classification? i.e. large, extra large etc.
 
Could be the extra protein...probably a double yolker......not unusual in new layers and/or high production breeds.


ETA: USDA egg sizes...not sure how that applies to the UK

I get 1 of those about every 2 weeks from one of my red sex links,they are always double yolkers.We save them for my grandson,he gets a kick out of the 2 yolks in the 1 egg,they look neat in the frying pan too.I am not sure if it is the same hen that lays them or a different one each time.They look pretty impressive sitting in the egg carton next to the other ones. I see, awesome. This is my first so im over the moon. I wonder what the heaviest egg laid by a hen has been. Calls for a competition i think!
 
I was just out and looked for eggs,I got another 2 yolker?,this one is from my only Black Jersey Giant,i know as she is the only one who lays an egg in the color it is,will weigh the 2 i got today and post it later,i have never gotten 2 in one day before? Harvey
