My broilers just arrived!

I am wanting to eventually get to where we are selling them also. I will have no problem selling the. In my community i already have tons of people asking to buy just because they heard i was raising them. I don't think i could raise enough to keep up. I am going to run a few batches for me first to figure out how to best do it before i put my family's name on it. I have about 300 birds already spoken for if only i had them. Ha what a problem to have. What do you guys recommend to feed them for the last few weeks to bulk them up and add flavor. They are currently on a 23% organic feed made at my local mill. I have heard corn and oats are a good add in and the molasses. Any other ideas would be appreciated. I am excited because I am in the home stretch with my first batch.

my birds are now 35 days old. They have been doing great in the tractor and thriving. They run around a lot and no leg issues. Seem to be bulking up now that they are eating grass. Any ideas to bulk them more before the big day

We plan on feeding Purina Game Flock Raiser from the start and the last week or so adding in dry molasses to sweeten them up a bit.

No sure about the milk replacer, may run along the same lines as the molasses we use. And no formula, we just add a few TBSP to the water, we use 1 gallon waters so they have fresh daily. You can also add dry molasses flakes to their feed, we use that on our steers.

Got 25 Cornish x today! So far so good. Can't believe how busy these guys are! Trying fermented feed. So far they are more interested in drinking....hopefully they learn to like it more tomorrow.

Oh yeah, broilers are eating machines!!! I have to feed them twice a day to keep up and fresh water every day too. Thankfully I get a discount on buying lots of bags of feed at a time LOL
