Guinea Keets Pecking Each Other

I got 30 keets today from Ideal Poultry. One was a little worse for wear, but is coming around.

My question is this. Are keets normally so mean to each other?

Details:
There seems to be two sizes to the keets that arrived. About half seem smaller than the other half.
The bigger half are really pulling and pecking on the smaller half. To the point that the smaller ones cry out.
When I say bigger...I'd say at least 25% bigger. It is a noticeable size difference.

I'm seriously considering splitting the 30 into two bins of 15 each...putting the larger ones together and the smaller ones together.
One was very week and the others were pulling at it's legs and wings. Took a couple of hours to warm him and feed him.
Now he is with a group of smaller ones who are huddled away from the bigger ones.

Do I separate them or let them duke it out?

Thanks in advance for the advise.

How large is your brooder? With that many keets you really need at least 2 different areas with heat and food/water, so that the bigger and stronger birds do not crowd out the smaller/weaker ones. Guineas are very active and require, in my opinion, more room than chicks. Letting them duke it out will likely result in loss of birds.
